Blessed
I saw your face in a crowd and didn't know that I had found what i'd been looking for since I knew how,
and wow, you were phenomenal.
You made me feel like the cherry on top of a monumental cake
with sparklers
and candles
and sprinkles
and cream.
I felt beautiful,
delicate yet strong, and loved.
I felt you look at me, hold my hand, kiss my cheek.
I felt you smiling with your heart and saw the truth of you in your eyes.
It was magical, almost too fantastical for real life, I don't know if it was a dream, or a wish come true, a genie with some tricks and giant sleeves, or god answering my prayers for real soulful company.
I felt warm in the glow of your light, you were sure and easy.
Happy.
No, content.
No, ecstatic, but calm.
You were that sunset glorious from the edge of the world, and I want to chase your golden hours across continents.
You were the first sign of light after a night that seemed to last forever.
You were a toasted marshmallow, a grape gum drop, and an incredible ride home.
You were a warm shower, a hot meal, a soft bed.
You were murmering in your sleep, innocently reaffirming my dreams of conquering the world, of changing the scope and scale of things and you were honey sweet.
You were home, you were naturalsunlight.
You were air,
you were shade,
you were bliss.
You were my own personal brand of heroin.
My own personally designed mind explosion, with electric touch.
You were a mountain of trust,
my trampoline,
my safety net,
my knight in shining amour,
my lover from another galaxy,
my intergalactic parrallel universe meant to be kind of glow,
with a bit of a shine, ooh, when you smiled. =)
I didn't want you to let me go.
I didn't want to leave you.
I wanted to wake up next to you forever.
I wanted to run away and start a kingdom of love together.
I wanted to pick your brain on picnics and pass time post pleasure.
You were fleeting, a one in a million chance meeting, you were there, then there, never here, but somehow everywhere, and I feel like i'll find you somewhere, elsewhere, where we have all the time in the world.
I want you to infinity and beyond.
I want your smoke in my lungs and your juice in my mouth.
I want to know every part of your being,
I want to kiss your eyes open in the morning.
I want to build a tribe with you,
craft shrines with you,
share all of mine with you.
I want eternity.
I want tea,
I want the moon in a cup
I want to kiss the stars in your eyes.
I want to swallow you whole.
I want more of you.
I want all of you.
I want to see baby pictures of you and meet your crazy cousins.
I want to play on the neighbourhood where you grew up and climb trees with you and roll down hills with you.
I want to eat live breathe love you.
I want you to stay this far away so my mind can remain clear.
I want you to stay far away so I can't drown myself in your oasis of bliss.
I want you
Now.
Now I want you,
I want you want me want us to touch.
I want more.
I want to wait for more =)
